Reese grates are available in standard or deep pit designs - for rectangular or contour areas. Standard load rating is 300 lbs./wheel rolling load. Grates require a frame recess.

This involved immersing the aluminum in a chemical bath and applying an electrical current to it, causing oxide to be produced from the resulting rust on the aluminum. This layer of oxide hardens the aluminum and makes it resistant to corrosion. All Reese mats are also available with a standard "Mill" finish which is un-anodized aluminum.
