VinAir Draining Mat

DESIGN:
VinAir shower matting is a “younger brother” to our VinGrate runners. Made out of the same material that can withstand beating by the direct direct sunlight. Unlike VinGrate it is constructed using hollow treads therefore is a bit cheaper and lighter - 0.77 pounds per square foot (about 3.8 kilograms per square meter). It is still pretty heavy so larger pieces would be stable on any surface due to their weight. Say 3’ x 5’ pies of this matting will weight over 10 pounds so it would not be easy to kick it around. VinAir has a bit more aggressive surface texture than most of our shower mats. Some even may consider these mats not as comfortable on their bare feet as VinGrate but VinAir provides maximum traction minimizing risk of slip-fall accidents. Bottom is constructed out of the same threads of same color just more spaced out for ultimate drainage with 1 inch distance between them (or 1.25 inch center to center (see diagram above)). CUSTOMIZATION:

Max Size LENGTH:
We get VinAir wet area mats in 33 feet-long-rolls but by the end of 2022 we are planing to switch to 40-foot-rolls. Length of a mat we can sell is limited to the length of the full roll. To form a nice end edge we slice this product along the perpendicular bottom treads. The actual size of a mat may wary by up to 0.5 of an inch.

Max Size WIDTH:
We carry these locker room mats in 3 and 4 foot widths. We can cut these down from there but you would be charged for the full width. It is not often that one needs these wider than 4 feet but it can be done by attaching multiple pieces side-by-side with zip ties (cable ties). Using a zip-tie every 10 inches or less and locking them underneath the mat the seam would look pretty good. We do not sell zip-ties as they are widely available and you can even find them in colors that would fairly close match any matting color.

Custom shapes:
We sell them only in rectangular shapes. If you need other than rectangular shape, we suggest buying a piece that is a bit larger than the area you are trying to cover and cutting it down on-site. In room temperature VinAir (as well as majority of our mats) are soft and easy to cut with any utility knife (avoid using break-away blades). Use the knife to make cuts to accommodate fixtures and or pipes.

Colors:
We stock VinAir shower mats in blue, black, gray and tan colors. We could have them made in any color. Minimum order would be 3 full rolls per color. Lead time may be very long too but as long as you can wait – we can do this. We would ask you to pre-pay 100% for these custom colored runners.

MAINTENANCE:
To clean these shower mats you can use any solution/chemical that you use to clean your showers with. On harder to remove stains / residue you may need to use a stiff brush. These mats can be washed with pressure washer. If using a pressure washer that is capable of higher than 1500 PSI – keep the nozzle at least 12 inches away from the mat.
