Perfec Grate – Heavy Traffic Applications

Reese Perfec VariStrip Grates help keep buildings clean with a two-step process. Alternating serrated aluminum treads remove caked-on mud and grime from foot traffic, while alternating carpet treads absorb moisture. (You may choose any filler strips you like—this combination is just the most popular.) The result: the VariStrip system both cleans and dries as foot traffic passes over the grate. Mud and dirt drop to the bottom of the grates and collect in a confined area. Maintenance personnel can simply lift the grate and clean beneath.

Reese grates are available in standard or deep pit designs for rectangular or contour areas. Standard load rating is 300 lbs./wheel rolling load. Grates require a recessed frame.

Aluminum rails with your choice of color and insert material make this a durable and visually attractive solution for any entrance. A wide variety of aluminum profiles are offered for either surface or recessed installation. This is a highly customizable product, and every project must be quoted individually. Priced at $20 and up per square foot, it’s one of the best investments in entrance matting in terms of longevity, effectiveness, and appearance.

Anodized aluminum has undergone an electrolytic process that hardens and protects the surface. This process involves immersing the aluminum in a chemical bath and applying an electrical current, creating a corrosion-resistant oxide layer. All Reese mats are also available in a standard “Mill” finish (un-anodized aluminum).
