RG-300 and RG-400 Drain-Well Series Entrance Grates

The Pawling RG-300 and RG-400 Drain-Well™ entrance matting systems are engineered for high-traffic commercial and institutional entryways, including interior and covered exterior areas. Both models are built with extruded aluminum box beam rails fastened to support rails spaced 12" on center, using vibration-proof fasteners for maximum durability and strength.

These mats are ideal for pedestrian and cart traffic, offering exceptional debris containment and ease of maintenance. Both the RG-300 and RG-400 are fabricated from at least 70% recycled aluminum and support rolling loads of up to 350 lbs. per wheel (RG-300) and 450 lbs. per wheel (RG-400).

Tread Insert: Rigid-Back Nylon (SNC)

Rigid-Back Nylon (SNC) inserts are made from solution-dyed 100% nylon carpet with a density of 33.8 oz/sq. yd. The carpet fibers are fusion-bonded to a two-ply backing and treated with anti-stain (Teflon), anti-static, and anti-microbial protection. Ideal for both indoor and outdoor use, these inserts are available in a wide variety of colors.

Maxi-Tuft Long Wear inserts are made from spaced-dyed, 100% polyamide nylon with tetra-lobal fibers. They feature a density of 30 oz/sq. yd and are fusion bonded to a two-ply backing. These inserts are designed for durability and include anti-stain, anti-static, and anti-microbial treatments.

Panel Construction: RG-300

The RG-300 entrance mat is constructed with box beam aluminum rails fastened to support rails spaced every 12 inches using vibration-proof fasteners. This robust design results in a mat depth of 1-1/2", allowing for increased drainage capacity. The tread inserts use 100% solution-dyed nylon fiber with a 1/4" finish pile height and a rigid backing at 33.8 oz/sq. yd.

This heavy-duty mat system is paired with the RGF-300 recessed frame. For proper fit, the manufacturer requires exact mat opening dimensions. Mats are fabricated 1/4" smaller than the opening. Sectioning may be necessary for mats over 48 square feet.

Panel Construction: RG-400

The RG-400 model features an open-style construction with box beam rails attached to support rails spaced at 12" intervals using vibration-proof fasteners. The panel has a depth of 1-1/2", delivering maximum drainage capacity for high-traffic areas. Carpet tread inserts use 100% solution-dyed nylon with a 1/4" pile height, 33.8 oz/sq. yd, and are mounted on a rigid backing.

This heavy-duty configuration also uses the RGF-300 recessed frame. As with other models, Pawling requires exact mat opening measurements for proper sizing. Panels are fabricated 1/4" smaller than the opening to ensure a precise fit. For panels over 48 square feet, factory sectioning may apply.
