Smart Step™ Arrow Trax – Vinyl Tread Mat for Recessed Applications

The Smart Step™ mat system combines alternating rows of ribbed vinyl and high-performance carpet strips to effectively scrape and dry foot traffic in busy entrance areas. A NOTRAX® exclusive, this matting solution is engineered for recessed installation but may also be placed directly on finished floors. Fully assembled to your custom specifications, this mat is ideal for high-traffic entrances in commercial and institutional settings.

Suggested uses: Store and mall foyers, hospital lobbies, office buildings, and other public entryways.
Note: For surface installation, optional beveled edging is recommended to reduce trip hazards.

Available Sizes

Mats are made to order at the factory based on your provided specifications. A detailed sketch indicating width, length, and direction of traffic flow is required when ordering. For optimal performance, carpet and vinyl strips should run across the width of the mat. Mats larger than 12' x 22' will be manufactured in two or more sections for easier handling and shipping.
