VinLoop Matting – Indoor and Outdoor Draining Mat
High-quality vinyl loop mat for wet areas
VinLoop matting is a versatile solution for pool decks, showers and any other spaces where effective water drainage is needed. These vinyl drainage mats are designed to help reduce slip-and-fall accidents and to keep surfaces drier, even under frequent water exposure. VinLoop mats are soft and comfortable under bare feet while still durable enough for years of use. They are often preferred to industrial rubber mats with large holes, as they are available in more colors and sizes.
Note: In hot climates (Florida, Hawaii, etc.), if the mat is exposed to direct sunlight (no shade) year-round, some fading and deterioration may occur within about a year.

VinLoop, also known as vinyl mesh matting, is one of the most basic and affordable drainage mats on the market.  VinLoop is a very versatile product that can be used by a swimming pool, in a shower or by an entrance door. It is manufactured by extruding vinyl into thin, spaghetti-like threads and fusing them together into a solid, berber-like vinyl mesh matting. Standard thickness is 3/8". Due to popular demand, we plan to begin ordering these mats made from thinner threads so they are softer and more comfortable to walk on with bare feet. CUSTOMIZATION: Max Size – Length: VinLoop is made in 39 ft rolls, so the maximum length of a single piece cannot exceed 39 ft. Keep in mind that the material weight is close to a pound per square foot, so very large pieces may be difficult to move. Max Size – Width: We stock 4 ft wide rolls only. We also use 4 ft rolls to cut 3 ft wide mats, which is why 3 ft and 4 ft wide mats are priced the same. If you need multiple pieces that are 2 ft wide or less, we may be able to use the material more efficiently. Borders: Standard mats come with unfinished borders, which are simply straight cuts. Because of the fused vinyl mesh construction, these edges look clean and will not fray like a carpet. If needed, a beveled edge can be glued on at extra cost to one or two opposite sides. While not required for the mat to lay flat, beveled borders can be useful when carts or equipment with smaller wheels need to roll onto the mat. 
Custom shapes: We cut only rectangular mats. However, mesh matting is easy to cut on site. Once brought to room temperature, it becomes soft enough to cut but not so soft that it sticks to the blade. Using a utility knife with a new blade, you can slice through the material to create notches or cutouts as needed. Colors: Our standard colors are blue, grey, black and brown. Occasionally, we may have other colors available when custom orders allow us to bring in a few extra rolls. Custom colors require a 20–30 roll order and approximately 3–5 months lead time. 
MAINTENANCE: To clean these mats, you can use the same solutions or chemicals you use for showers. For stubborn stains or residue, a stiff brush may be helpful. VinLoop mats can also be washed with a pressure washer. If using a pressure washer capable of more than 1500 PSI, keep the nozzle at least 12" away from the mat. |
